The Competitions and Tournaments Committee organises Cheshire Shield one-day events for all age groups throughout the year.  The Open Men’s, Ladies and Junior events take place outdoors at one of our Cheshire clubs, through the Summer, and the Senior Men’s and Ladies events (age 50+) are usually scheduled for the Autumn at one of Cheshire’s indoor venues. These events are open to any club in Cheshire to enter a team.

Teams comprise 4 players and the format varies with the number of entries, but whatever form that takes, the day is packed with fun filled high quality tennis, with a Champion team being “crowned” at the end of the day.  Winning teams are invited to attend our prestigious and ever popular Awards Evening.
