COMPETITIONS
The Competitions & Tournaments Committee is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of events that take place throughout the year. These include our prestigious County Championship tournaments, as well as inter club competitions and the LTA’s “Play Your Way to Wimbledon” events for juniors and adults. We try to have a good mix of events for adults, juniors, singles, doubles as well as teams so that everyone has an opportunity to compete with players across the County..
PLAY YOUR WAY TO WIMBLEDON
The Play Your Way To Wimbledon tournament, powered by Vodafone, gives adult and junior players an opportunity to follow in their heroes footsteps and compete for the title at Wimbledon. Players start by competing locally at an event taking place at a local club, park or school, with the winners progressing through to the County and/or Area Finals, and then onto the National Finals at Wimbledon. Events will run from 2 March – 26 May 2024. Cheshire Tennis oversees the County Finals that take place in July.
NATIONAL LEAGUE / YOUTH LEAGUE
Open to teams from all LTA registered venues in Cheshire– the Youth & National Leagues give players of all ages and abilities the chance to battle it out alongside against a variety of different opponents alongside their friends. So, assemble your team and find out how you can get involved in the next Youth League or National League competitions.
CHESHIRE LEAGUES
The Cheshire Leagues are run right across the County and run invidually by seperate organisers. If you would like to get in touch with a league organiser, you can find their details below.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUES
An annual invitation inter club doubles competition. League winners and runners up from the 6 Cheshire summer leagues compete against each other in a one day event played indoors in October.
