Walking Tennis Social a Huge Success
On October 23rd over 20 players from Manor Road’s Walking Tennis group travelled to Culcheth to participate in a Walking tennis social between the two clubs. Over 32 players were in attendance, and all 4 courts were buzzing.

Para-Standing Tennis is coming to Birchwood on the 1st-2nd November, and time to secure your place in the tournament is running out!
The County Championships will feature Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles, with all events open for entry from 30th July. We’d love to see you there!

Cheshire 35&Over Mixed Doubles Championships2025
The annual 35 &Over mixed doubles event took place on Sunday 28th September at Knutsford Tennis Club for the first time in its history, and it was a great success. There were more pairs who entered compared to the previous year, from clubs from all corners of the county and the standard of the tennis was high. Tom Brown was the referee, and he arranged the pairs into 2 groups, such that every pair played full sets, giving plenty of tennis to all resulting in long exciting ral

Cheshire County Junior Championships 2025 took place at Hoole LTC between the 23rd to the 30th August. With over 230 entries across 33 categories, the tournament again proved why it is such a popular event in the Cheshire Tennis calendar.

Wheelchair Regional Tournament (Birchwood 15th & 16th Aug 2025)
For the 3rd year running Cheshire Tennis has hosted an LTA Regional Tournament with prize sponsorship from one of our Partners, Bentley Manchester.
The players from around the country had a great competition. The standard of play was very high and most enjoyable to watch. All the competitors enjoyed themselves, especially as hosts, we at Cheshire Tennis make everyone feel so welcome!

Cheshire Men’s 35+ team finish third in division 2B
Our Cheshire Men’s 35+ team battled across the weekend to secure a well-earned 3rd place finish in Division 2B at the 35+ County Cup. Eastbourne delivered lovely weather and plenty of spectators were treated to some brilliant tennis throughout.

LD Regional tournament at Chesterfield
Cheshire is recognised as a supportive county for encouraging our competitors to enter LTA disability tournaments – both local and regional. The calendar is quite full and offers a wide variety of opportunities for everyone. The competitions are warm and friendly affairs for both competitors and family to be a part of.
