Cheshire Tennis & LTA Awards 2027 Nominations Are Now Open!

Do you know an outstanding volunteer, coach, club, venue or team that deserves to be recognised? Now is your chance to celebrate the people who make tennis and padel thrive across Cheshire.

Nominations are now open for both the LTA Tennis Awards and the Cheshire Tennis Awards, recognising the incredible individuals, clubs, teams and organisations whose dedication, passion and hard work help grow the game at every level.

Whether it's a volunteer giving up countless hours behind the scenes, a coach inspiring the next generation, a club creating an inclusive environment or a team enjoying an outstanding season, these awards are an opportunity to say thank you.

PLEASE NOTE: The Cheshire Tennis Presentation evening will be held on Monday 30th November where all winners will be announced.

LTA Tennis Awards

The LTA Tennis Awards celebrate individuals, clubs and organisations from across the country who have made an exceptional contribution to tennis and padel.

This year's categories include:

• Cathie Sabin Volunteer of the Year

• Club of the Year

• Coach of the Year

• Competition of the Year

• Lifetime Achievement Award

• Official of the Year

• Park Venue of the Year

• Performance Coach of the Year

• Protect Where We Play Award

• School of the Year

• Tennis Opened Up Award

• University of the Year

• Young Person of the Year

Judging Criteria

Before submitting your nomination, we recommend reading the full judging criteria for each award category. This explains exactly what the judges are looking for and will help you prepare the strongest possible nomination.

How to Nominate

If someone has inspired you, supported your club, transformed your venue or made a lasting contribution to tennis or padel, we'd encourage you to nominate them. LTA Tennis Awards nominations close on 31 October.

Cheshire Tennis Awards

Alongside the national awards, Cheshire Tennis is also recognising outstanding contributions within the county through four Cheshire-specific awards:

• Head Coach Recognition Award

• 8U Performance Coach Award

• Team of the Year (Adult, Senior or Super Senior)

• Junior Team of the Year

For the Head Coach Recognition Award and 8U Performance Coach Award, nominations should demonstrate how the nominee has made an outstanding contribution in line with the published award criteria HERE.
