Hoole LTC had its Big Tennis day on Saturday 29 June and combined with the Parish Council for a Summer Fair. Apart from the on court activities, Mickle Trafford Primary School PTA had a cake stall, games, candy floss and sold raffle tickets for a draw held at the Village Hall later in the day.
The club hosted 11.00am to 1.00pm with attention switching to the Village Hall (where there was a model railway exhibition, various stalls and the PTA repeated their morning offerings) from 2.00pm to 4.30pm. The highlight for everyone was a visit by the Lord Mayor of Chester, Razia Daniels. Razia spoke at length with Head Coach Pete Leatherbarrow and met many of his coaching team and numerous players.
