Ruth Samuels: LTA Lifetime Achievement Award
First, a massive congratulations to Ruth Samuels, who was presented with the prestigious LTA Lifetime Achievement Award last week.

Ruth’s dedication to the sport has been transformative. Reflecting on the honor, Ruth shared:

Barbara Bloor: LTA Meritorious Service Award
The celebrations continue as Barbara Bloor receives the LTA’s highest honor: the Meritorious Service Award.
Nominated by John Doe, LTA Councillor for Cheshire and Chair of Cheshire Tennis, the award recognizes a career defined by selfless service. "I’m absolutely delighted," said John Doe. "This is a fitting recognition of Barbara’s contribution to tennis over many years—spanning club, county, regional, and national levels."
LTA President Roy Colabawalla added his personal congratulations, inviting Barbara to the President’s Lunch at the HSBC Championships (WTA 500) at Queen’s Club this June. There, Barbara will be celebrated among a select group of volunteers who have made an outstanding impact on British tennis.
A huge well done from everyone at Cheshire Tennis! We want to thank Ruth and Barbara for their tireless work and passion for the sport.
