Our 14U County Cup squads were back on the road this past weekend, with the Girls heading to Boston and the Boys traveling to Corby. From gritty wins in the rain to clinching spots in the National Finals, it was a weekend that truly tested the spirit of our young players.

Our youngest Cheshire stars competed in the 8U County Cup in Sunderland last weekend. A long trek for small legs, but our players took it all in their stride.

Cheshire Tennis is delighted to support the Northern Women’s Tennis Day hosted at The Lexus Ilkley Open. On Monday 8th June female coaches, referees, club volunteers, all female tennis workforce are invited to join Yasmin Clarke for the unmissable event.

It is a monumental week for Cheshire Tennis as we celebrate two of our own being recognized at the highest level of the sport. We are incredibly proud to announce national honors for Ruth Samuels and Barbara Bloor.

On April 12th, Bollington Recreation Ground officially unveiled its beautifully refurbished park courts, marking a major win for the local sporting community.

What a great weekend at the Bidston Tennis Centre! The energy was electric as we hosted the annual National Winter League Finals, bringing together some of the most promising talent in Cheshire.

Cheshire Tennis is delighted to have 4 National Finalists for the LTA Awards 2026. With more than 3,000 nominations in 14 categories, from across the country, it is an incredible achievement to be named a National Finalist. Last year, our Ladies County Cup Team were delighted to be asked to play at the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC). Following a standout performance in 2025, the Cheshire Ladies were invited onto the grounds of Wimbledon for a once-in-a-lifetime competitive experience. Our Para-standing & Wheelchair Tennis "Come and Try" event was a spectacular success with over 30 players turning up. Seeing the courts buzzing with energy was a real highlight of 2026 so far.
