Sunday 4th October saw Birchwood Tennis Centre host the Cheshire 7U Team Challenge, bringing together 11 teams from eight clubs for an exciting day of junior team tennis. Teams from across Cheshire took part, with Poynton, Birchwood, Hoole, Lymm, Wirral, Alderley Edge, Bramhall Lane and Widnes all represented. Alderley Edge, Bramhall Lane and Widnes each entered two teams, creating a fantastic atmosphere and plenty of competitive tennis throughout the day.

Our 12U Girls team travelled to Nottingham for the County Cup National Finals after an excellent qualifying performance in Boston a couple of weeks earlier, where the girls won their group to secure their place at the finals.

1 POINT GRAND! This is an opportunity for players 19 and over to compete for the chance to play in the One Point Grand event at the Lexus Wrexham Open.

We recently learned of an enduring friendship between 2 clubs that has celebrated its 20th anniversary. Upton Victory Hall Tennis Club and TA Hohes Ufer of Munster have celebrated their annual tennis and cultural exchange and its success continues to grow. The 2026 Cheshire Junior County Championships took place from Saturday 22 August to Saturday 29 August, attracting an outstanding 220 entries across 33 events.
