Hazel Grove Bowling & Tennis Club recently applied for funding via our Participation & Inclusion Grant, aiming to launch a structured Saturday outreach programme for juniors in the local community, and what a resounding success it has been!

We had an incredible day at the Ilkley Lexus tournament for the Northern Female Networking Event on Monday 8th June! Alongside our neighbours from across the North, Cheshire coaches and volunteers came together to share ideas, tackle challenges like female player retention, and discuss how we can get more women into coaching.

The members, families, friends and the wider community of Tarporley Tennis Club are proud to be supporting The Joshua Tree as the charity celebrates 20 years of helping families affected by childhood cancer.

The boys qualified for the 14U County Cup National Finals, which took place at Nottingham Tennis Centre. Unfortunately, in the lead-up to the event, the team lost one of its players due to injury, resulting in a late reshuffle of the squad.

We're excited to announce that the entries for the Men's and Women's Cheshire Shield are now open!

Our 14U County Cup squads were back on the road this past weekend, with the Girls heading to Boston and the Boys traveling to Corby. From gritty wins in the rain to clinching spots in the National Finals, it was a weekend that truly tested the spirit of our young players.

Our youngest Cheshire stars competed in the 8U County Cup in Sunderland last weekend. A long trek for small legs, but our players took it all in their stride.

Cheshire Tennis is delighted to support the Northern Women’s Tennis Day hosted at The Lexus Ilkley Open. On Monday 8th June female coaches, referees, club volunteers, all female tennis workforce are invited to join Yasmin Clarke for the unmissable event.
