8U make Cheshire proud in County Cup

This last weekend saw the Cheshire 8U teams compete in the County Cup at Wexham Tennis Centre. Cheshire had four teams compete (and A and B team in both the girls and the boys).

The results for the day were as follows...

Girls A - 2nd

Girls B - 3rd

Boys A - 2nd

Boys B - 5th

County Coach Amanda Twigg said, "We saw some superb tennis this weekend. Our players had great energy throughout, and what was really impressive is that they were always trying to do something with the ball, rather than just keeping it in.

"We target this event for player development as opposed to wins, as these results do not count toward the county cup race. It makes these results fantastic, and everyone tried really hard."
