Cheshire 10U Boys Secure Third Place at North Area Finals

The 10U County Cup North Area Finals in Wirral showcased the incredible determination, and team spirit of our Cheshire boys. Battling through some tough fixtures over the weekend, they secured a fantastic third place, making everyone proud.

Representing Cheshire were: Harvey Okeke, Henry Dainty, Raffy Johnston, Freddie Marsden, Lucas Pemberton, Noah Le Marquand

The campaign began in style on Saturday morning with a strong 4–2 win over the North of Scotland, a performance that set the tone for the weekend. In the afternoon, they dug deep to edge past Warwickshire 4–2, their fighting spirit on full display.

Sunday morning posed a tough challenge against Lancashire, with the team putting in a valiant effort despite a 6–0 loss. In their final match of the weekend, the boys battled hard against Yorkshire but fell 4–2, a close-fought tie that confirmed their third-place finish overall in the North Area Finals.

This young team’s third place finish was testament to their hard work, the excellent support from their coaches and families, and the spirit of Cheshire tennis.

A huge congratulations to Harvey, Henry, Raffy, Freddie, Lucas, and Noah, along with the coaches and families who made the weekend possible. The future of Cheshire tennis is bright, and we’re excited to see where these fantastic young players go from here.
