At Cheshire Tennis, we believe that tennis is a sport for everyone. As part of our ongoing commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), we are excited to spotlight three major upcoming events in 2026, that celebrate accessible sport and showcase incredible talent within our region.

Whether you are looking to compete, volunteer, or simply come along to support and learn more about inclusive tennis, make sure to mark these dates in your diary!

Disability Awareness Day 2026

What to expect:

  • The Sports Zone: Cheshire Tennis and other sporting partners will be in the Sports Zone to showcase how tennis is adapted for different abilities.

  • A Family Day Out: Beyond sport, there is a performing arts marquee, a silent disco, and family entertainment.

  • Inclusivity at its Heart: The event promotes a "can-do" culture, focusing on independence and the latest in accessible equipment and support services.

How to get involved: Just turn up! The event opens at 10:00 AM and finishes at 4:30 PM. It’s a fantastic way to see how accessible our sport can be in a fun, relaxed environment.
