Walking Tennis Tournament a Huge Success

Following on from the hugely successful inter club competition and to celebrate national Inclusion Week, the 3 winning pairs went on to represent Cheshire  in another first – the first Inter County Walking Tennis event between Cheshire, Hereford & Worcester and Shropshire.

It was held at the Cathie Sabin indoor dome at The Shrewsbury Club Thursday 26th September. 3 pairs from each county competed in a round robin format with Cheshire being crowned the outright winners.

The day was a lot of fun and enjoyed by all the players wanting to have more events like this. Cheshire will host next years event and are working on a date already.
