Hazel Grove Bowling & Tennis Club recently applied for funding via our Participation & Inclusion Grant, aiming to launch a structured Saturday outreach programme for juniors in the local community, and what a resounding success it has been!
Coach Lydia Maud has been absolutely delighted to see the courts buzzing with enthusiastic youngsters. The energy on Saturdays has been great, and this is just the beginning. Thanks to the momentum from this funding, the club is now hoping to establish an upcoming holiday camp scheme, with ultimate plans to fully reboot their junior coaching programme in September 2026. This is exactly what community tennis is all about!
