On top of this we’ve got two new awards!

Sustainability Award

This will be awarded to a club or person who has done most to address issues related to environmental sustainability protecting and supporting the environment and tackling our climate impacts.

We would like to hear about what your club is doing in matters of energy saving, biodiversity and encouragement of all members to embrace the issue of protecting the environment. Before submitting a nomination we encourage you to read the LTA Sustainability plan online

Head Coach Recognition Award

For this award there are more specific criteria but we wish to acknowledge the sustained work of a head coach being a ‘game changer’ playing a pivotal role in the progress and change of a club.

The Head coach will have:

  • Been at Cheshire venues for 10 years or more

  • Made a difference in attracting new players to the club and in growing an inclusive programme

  • Been involved in the governance and management of the club

  • Identified and supported the development of a new generation workforce

  • Created a positive environment for both adult and junior competition

  • Developed an outreach programme working with the community and with schools

These awards are not accessed by the LTA Awards online but will require a statement from you outlining why your nomination should be considered. This can be in the form of an email to our administrator Lynne Whitford at lynne@cheshirecountylta.org.uk
