We're recruiting! Are you passionate about racket sports and ready to take the lead in shaping competitions across Cheshire? Cheshire Tennis is looking for a dynamic Competitions Co-ordinator to help grow and develop the sport in one of the UK’s most active tennis communities. Closing date is 10th April 2026.

This flexible, part-time role (approximately 20 hours per month on retainer, with additional hours agreed seasonally) would suit someone with experience in tennis operations, competition management or club leadership. The role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape competition across one of the UK’s most active counties.

Workload will fluctuate seasonally in line with peak competition periods, particularly during spring and summer. The hourly rate would be £30 and would be subject to review each October.  A specific fee would be paid when acting as a Tournament Organiser to be agreed with the Chair of Competitions & Tournaments Sub-Committee.

The initial contract will be for 1 year with an opportunity to renew. There are no specific location requirements but attendance at events in the county will be required and travel expenses will be paid.

Applications consisting of a CV and a covering letter which outline your suitability for the role should be sent to lynne@cheshiretennis.org.uk by 10th April 2026. We plan to hold interviews during April 2026 and for the contract to commence in May 2026.
